Jesus Christ!!!

This game is so fucking hard, that it makes me want to keep playing again and again until I get it right! I have to admit that the difficulty makes it pretty fun to play, although the learning curve is quite brutal. My fingers are still aching from the last time I played this. Maybe I'll go soak them in some ice water after I play just one more round of this game.

Not completely bad.

I have to admit that you are an incredibly talented animator. As usual, the overall presentation is astounding. I don't know how you do it, but the graphics in all of your submissions are very well polished, and that especially goes for this one. Now that I've got that out of the way, let's talk about the actual game play. I don't like the enemies. For one thing, they are kind of dull-looking. Most of them just look like little flying circles and ovals that have been painted grey. Not only that, I also hate how they have the ability to pass through solid objects. Never, in any game, have I ever enjoyed fighting enemies that have that annoying ability. It is especially annoying when they reemerge for only short periods of time and then pass through an object again so that you can't hit them. Another thing that I don't like is the way the camera moves. Although this sort of camera works well in the Smash Bros. games, that's only because the enemy movements aren't nearly as chaotic in those games as they are in this one. It's kind of hard to explain, but I'll try to do my best. Let's say that there is more than one enemy on the screen. If they are far away from one another, the camera will zoom out far enough so that you can see them both. However, if one of them moves completely off-screen, the camera will just zoom right back in real fast, and once the enemy moves back on-screen, the camera will zoom out again real fast. All of these strange enemy movements cause the camera to thrash about in a very nauseating manner, which makes it very hard to concentrate on hitting your opponent. Once all the enemies are finally dealt with, the camera will zoom in on you so close, that it becomes hard to see the next platform in front of you until you jump, which will fortunately make the camera zoom back a little. Even if all of these problems were dealt with, what you would still be left with is just an ordinary platforming-shooter game that looks pretty, but has no other unique qualities beyond that. Nevertheless, I still hope to see more stuff from you in the future.

This game is awesome!

Not only is it better than the first, it's also more challenging.

The hardest game that I've ever beaten!

I actually like how ridiculously hard this game is. It just makes it all the more satisfying when you finally beat it.

This game is a mess.

Why is the "up" button the "attack" button and the space bar the "jump" button? It would make more sense if it were the other way around. Second of all, even though you have to jump on the rats to kill them, they still do damage to you anyway. Also, if I'm being attacked by one of the bigger enemies, sometimes I can't even move at all. And last but not least, why is it that when I enter the elevator, I fall through the floor and I can't get back out?

Deviantworkshop responds:

Thanks for the review and the bug report on the elevator. And I just wanted to comment on the controls. The reason that I set it up that way if you are using your right hand to control movement it is easier of you attack with your right hand and jump with the left hand sense you will jump allot less. I will however put in a control editor in further games that I make.
I set it up so a rat can bite you even if you step on it to make it a little harder. and last but not least if something is throttling you in the head you will have a hard time moving.
Thanks for the comment and for the bug report

No where near as good as the original.

The controls feel ridiculous. Dodging your opponent is next to impossible. When the characters punch, they look like they are having seizures. Also, I prefer playing as Little Mac rather than this new green wire-frame character who seems to block most of the view of my opponent.

Not bad.

For the most part, it's a pretty decent game. My biggest complaint is that the controls are way too sensitive. The character moves so fast, it's kind of difficult sometimes to position him at the right altitude to shoot down enemies.

Nerto responds:

You should use the "S" key to slow your movement speed. You will be able to aim better.

There is a glitch.

When I enter one of the doors, rather than appearing right outside another door, I'm stuck inside a wall instead. I at least commend you for making a nice-looking environment. The game might actually turn out pretty good once you finish it.

Nice game!

The variety of levels and missions is pretty decent.

WixGames responds:
